Shashikala Siriwardene 

Sheshikala Siriwardene has captained the women’s cricket team for Sri Lanka in WODI matches. Her record of 100 wickets in Sri Lankan WODI cricket is the only one among female cricketers in the country to match her 1000+ runs. Additionally, she has recorded 77 wickets in T20Is for Sri Lanka.

Over a career spanning about 17 years, she played internationally for Sri Lanka from 2003 to 2020. Siriwardene is known as one of the best women cricketers from Sri Lanka who achieved great success during her career. Besides, she is also regarded as one of the greatest female bowlers of all time

Level 1 coach with Sri Lanka Cricket after completing the Level 1 coaching program conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket and also had a brief stint of three years coaching cricket techniques to young schools girls at the Devi Balika Vidyalaya in Colombo.
